This year, the Convivium’s theme is all about getting ready for Gulf Wars and making sure our gear is in order.  Several classes will be on the "Make and Take" format, meaning you will leave the class with a completed item and take it with you at day’s end. A few examples of the courses we plan to offer are Camp Cooking and Food Safety, Tent Making, Forging and many more.  The class schedule has information about each class and allows you to pre-register.   Children's activities will also be offered and information about those activities are also provided on the class schedule.

Something extra this year we'll be giving away a Wedge Tent!  This tent will be manufactured on-site in the Tent Making Class. 

Lunch will be served in the feasting style; and once school is out, there will be offsite reveling at Master Allan and Duchess Caroline’s! For those traveling from afar, limited crash space in member homes is available; please contact the autocrat to make arrangements.
 

Directions: Take your best route to I-65 in Decatur, Alabama. From the North, take exit #340 toward Decatur, cross the bridge and follow Hwy 36S/6^th Avenue to 14^th St., SW .  Look for the round bank on the corner. Turn right onto 14^th St, cross the railroad overpass and turn right again at the light onto Central Pkwy. Follow Central Pkwy approximately .7 miles and turn left onto 8^th St. SW. The site is located on the left at the 4-Way stop. From the South, take exit #334 and turn left onto Hwy 67 toward Decatur. Follow Hwy 67 approx 4.5 miles and turn right onto Hwy 36N/6^th Avenue. Turn left onto 14^th St. SW (look for the round bank on the corner) and follow instructions above to site.
